Killingsworth Excited about New Products for the Community

Jason Killingsworth’s reputation preceded him.
He was known for excellent customer service in the wireless communication field when an opportunity opened for a marketing consultant at The Andalusia Star-News in Andalusia, Ala.
“We all agreed,” publisher Michele Gerlach said. “We wanted Jason to join our team.”
Jason has delivered the same customer service and efficiency to his advertising clients. He said he loves working with his customers and being part of an organization that puts him in the middle of all that’s going on in the community.
He has especially enjoyed working with fellow employees to develop new products, like South Alabama Living, the newspaper’s new lifestyles magazine launched last fall.
“It’s fun being a part of new things and seeing how well people receive them in the community,” he said.
He especially enjoys working with his clients to develop creative campaigns with which to deliver their advertising messages. His attention to detail and deadlines helps his clients.
In addition to his responsibilities in Andalusia, Jason also is a member of a company blitz team which helps leads targeted sales efforts in other communities. Traveling to other BNI communities and seeing different ways people work also makes his job more interesting, he said.
He is a native of Andalusia, and enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and Auburn University football.
